Following the Board Meeting on Sunday, May 17 at 6:45 pm at Patty's Pizza Shack, 8591 Elk Grove Blvd., EGBR will conduct voting for all-stars. We require each team to be represented and to nominate your own players who you think worthy for all star teams. The entire coaching staff does not have to be present, just a minimum of one representative. For your nominations you should have some stats or other evidence to support your nominations. We will choose teams for 13's, 14's, & 15-16's (last two are combined). The first round of Babe Ruth tournaments will be as follows:
13's - Belmont, CA 2nd round - Kingsburg, CA
14's - Livermore, CA 2nd round - Long Beach, CA
15-16's - Woodland, CA 2nd round - Fallon, NV
All of the first round tourneys are from June 27 to July 3, double elimination. We will also need to select managers for these teams. If there are no volunteers to coach, then that team will not participate. Practices will begin the Monday after our final championship game on June 13. There will be a clothing fee for all-star players and coaches of around $50-$60. It would help to know if the players you nominate are interested and available to play in the tournament.
