Details: The Tyler Routt All Stars will be held at Bartholomew Sports Park Babe Ruth Field on Sunday May 3, 2026, with pre-game ceremonies starting at 2:00pm. Tyler Routt coaches will be selected by the EGER Board and announced by Wednesday April 29. The game will be 7 innings or 2.5 hours in length. (a hard time limit). Game participants to be chosen by the coaching staffs of their teams and provided to the League Secretary no later than Tuesday April 28, 6pm, emailed to Coachdoug6@icloud.com (see selection process in email to coaches).
Len Willeford Home Run Derby: On the same day, Sunday, May 3, starting at 11 am the league presents our Homerun Derby. This is a chance for the big hitters in the league to match skills with each other. A homerun line is established mid outfield and a classic homerun derby starting with 14 players, two from each team. The selection criteria should be obvious, and players should be selected based on hitting skill, power, and availability on May 3 by 10:30 am at BSP Team jerseys should be worn but shorts are permitted in lieu of baseball pants if the player chooses. Helmets are mandatory. Selections due to coachdoug6@icloud.com by 6 pm on Wednesday, April 29. Format for email to Coach Doug should include Jersey# Age, confirmation that the player is available on 5/3 plus contact information (Parent/Player email and Phone). The Len Willeford Homerun Derby is put on by the League to Recognize the long-time owner of the Sports Shop and Len who always supported the league and the players.
